Martial Arts CD's [Multimedia CD-ROM's]

In 1992 my family and I began studying Judo. Around that time I was given a video capture card previously used for industrial monitoring. After experimenting with digital video (a relatively new technology at the time) I thought it would be a useful learning tool to catalog and organize Judo techniques on a multimedia CD-ROM. In 1994 I produced an application and CD-ROM with my partner Steve Hynes which we marketed and sold on our own and also through Black Belt Magazine. In 1995 we produced four CD-ROMS for Black Belt Magazine using their existing video library.

In 1997 I produced three more Judo CD-ROM titles for Vincent Tamura (an international competitor and Judo referee at the 1964 Olympics).
